What is GenYYC ?

GenYYC is a new leadership development program designed in partnership by the Calgary Chamber and the Calgary Foundation. The goal of this program is simple: build great leaders, strong organizations and an engaged community.

Our city’s leaders recognize the inherent value of collaboration between the business sector and the charitable community. They see the opportunity and responsibility these groups have, to work together to build a stronger economy and, in turn, a better world. This type of leadership encourages a vibrant, progressive, inclusive, and diverse Calgary. It’s time for us to build the next generation of resilient pathfinders.

This program connects Calgary’s emerging leaders to a network of from all industries and sectors – both for-profit and not-for-profit, who share this common value, with the aim of inspiring social and community impact through intersectoral collaborations.
