Iraqi Canadian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (IraqCanadaCham) is a Canadian non-profit organization and unique association for two-way connecting between Canada and Iraq. IraqCanadaCham is located in Canada and Iraq contributes to economic development through the promotion of Canada-Iraq business development, high quality technical assistance and strategic advice, and business community outreach
Through a unique mix of advocacy, solutions and standard setting, we promote Canada & Iraq business relationship, responsible business conduct and strategic approach to regulation, in addition to providing different services, such as training & development services, education services, technology services, and entrepreneur services.
IraqCanadaCham is governed annually by our Board of Directors who oversee the Chamber annual activities and help guide the Chamber President. Both the Chamber staff and Board of Directors are guided by the Chamber bylaws.
About Our Board of Directors
The Iraqi Canadian Chamber of Commerce & Industry is guided by a Strategic Plan developed and managed by a volunteer Board of at least 7 Directors elected from among the Membership and supported by a structure of Committees and Task Forces. Board Members are elected for 3-year terms and may be re-elected up to two times. Terms are staggered so that only four Board seats turn over annually, helping us share knowledge between one generation and the next and ensuring we have a diverse and vibrant leadership group.
